It’s fun! It’s rewarding…. and you will meet some truly incredible people when you volunteer for the Komen Ozark Race for the Cure. The success of the Race depends heavily on the support we receive from our community volunteers. It takes over 300 extra hands on Race Day. With the Race quickly approaching we still have a need for 250 volunteers to help on Friday, April 29 and Race Day Saturday, April 30th.
Volunteers fill all sorts of needs for the Race, including being with the dogs at Bark for the Cure, handing out water to runners on the course, timed chip collection, putting up crowd control barricades, providing directions, set up, tear down and hanging banners.
